LESSON FIVE: Yazoo Basin Boogie played in a dropped D tuning combining a boogie, walking bass, counterpoint lines and Delta blues techniques. A Heart Much Obliged played in the style of Ray Charles and Professor Longhair.

LESSON SIX: BLUES IN A: The instrumental Blues For The Mann takes licks and ideas from the playing of Leroy Carr, Robert Johnson, Rev.Gary Davis and Steve Mann. Lemon's Jump played in a Snooks Eaglin country blues style.
